I had to share this presentation by Dr. Rockson from Stanford, who Juniper went to see this summer. He confirms what I have long suspected: Juniper's severe eczema is probably a result of a, in my layman's terms, jacked up immune system caused by her lymphedema.

ReplyDeletethank you for your blog which was very interesting and motivating!!! My son has also been diagnosed with primary lymphedema when he was 2 months old and luckily is developing normally in all other respects. So our story is quite similar to yours. ;-)) We live in Germany where we are going to visit an internationally famous lymphedema hospital for a two weeks stay in a couple of weeks which specializes in children. We hope to get new impulses there. It would be great to get in touch with you and share / exchange information and experiences.
